Graduate scholarship for doctoral thesis on art and AI
The Otto-von-Gericke-University awards doctoral scholarships to doctoral students with excellent performances in their studies of its own university on the basis of the Graduate Scholarship Act. This year, among others, the project Aesthetics - Subject - Education: The Computation of the Arts by Juliane Ahlborn, which is located at the interface of art and artificial intelligence. With this dissertation project, Juliane Ahlborn is continuing her focus already established in her master's thesis.
The master thesis with the title Code - Art - Subject. Educational and subjectivation-theoretical perspectives on algorithmic forms of articulation was published in the Open Access series Medienbildung. Studies on Audiovisual Culture and Communication.
